The iphone 6 has blazing fast wi-fi. in our speed test comparison the iphone 6 was more than twice as fast as the iphone 5s.. Lot of iphone users faced this same problem when they use wifi connection in their new iphone 6 or iphone 6 plus. but the same wifi connection working good when they use iphone 5 with ios 7. this is a common issue evey iphone user faced when they update or use ios 8.. According to speedtest.net on my laptop and ipad, my wifi network is running at ~20mbps download speed. when i restart my iphone 6, the speedtest registers ~19mbps, which is great, but was soon as i open safari, the speed grinds to an agonizing pace, and i remeasure at ~1.5mbps..
The iphone se also supports 802.11a/b/g/n and ac wi‑fi (but without mimo). while you should get better speeds with the iphone 6s, the reality is that there are many factors that can impact speed at any given point of time.. Iphone 6 definitely has a lower wifi speed. i compared my speed to my friends nexus 6 and he had the full speed of the network while i had around half. dunno if the 6s fixed this with the newer wifi and cellular parts..
