How To Downgrade Asus Router Firmware

Hi fam, been having problems with my new asus rt-ac68u. it is amazing for about a week, then all of a sudden starts going slowly. i'm on the latest firmware so hoping to revert to an older one where there were no problems.. Steps needed to be done to downgrade your asus router. step 1: downgrade firmware. old firmware - enable tftp on your windows system. - boot router in rescue mode.. This version is not compatible with all previously released asus firmware and uncertified third party firmware. i had this ordeal today. after an issue with 380.3264, i grabbed 378.9529 and flashed that back on my router (also a n66u)..
